This week in history, we’ve been reviewing map skills. My students had to use their IMAGI-NATION to create a nation based on a theme. They had to have a map key, compass rose, and ten geographical features. They also has to have five major cities with one capital. This was such a fun project! I was blown away by some of my student’s work. They really enjoyed this project. I was a little worried about teaching sixth grade history because I’ve never taught it before, but I’m loving it and am always up for a challenge!
